The McWane Science Center (children's museum) in Birmingham had a special Pirate's Weekend so we went up to check out the festivities! They had various special pirate stations set up around the museum. The kids got temporary tattoos, collected treasure and made an eye patch and pirate hat. Daniel wanted his tattoo on his neck and we could not get him to change his mind - silly boy! We also had a good time checking out the new exhibits that we haven't seen yet for the summer, especially the giant bubble exhibit. It was very crowded, so we didn't stay too long but plan to go back soon!
