May 2010

May has been a super busy and fun month! Aside from all the special days that I already wrote about, we mostly spent the month visiting with family and with the boys playing, learning and growing! Colin started smiling this month and can really hold up his head well now. Daniel is being such a great big brother and can't wait until Colin can do more to play with him! Enjoy the pics and videos below. Click here if you want to see ALL the pictures and videos from May.

Rich Family Reunion

This Memorial Day, we headed down to Rice, TX for the Rich Family Reunion with Allan's parents. We had a nice lunch and a good time visiting with family that we hadn't seen in a long time, and for Daniel and Colin - ever! Everyone was excited to meet Daniel and Colin and hold the baby. Daniel had a great time playing in the garden rocks and the water mister. I held him up to the mister once and he just kept wanting to be held up there. He went around to everyone trying to find someone that would hold him up to it. He finally found someone willing to do it! He also made everyone laugh by licking one of the stone decorative items along the patio. He said it was "ice cream". When I asked him what flavor, he said it was cold. So cute! Enjoy the pics!

Grapevine Outdoor Adventure Festival

Today me and my mom took the boys to the Grapevine Outdoor Adventure Festival. We had a nice time walking around, checking out the different sales booths and enjoying some festival food. They had a really nice children's area, with a petting zoo, lots of things for kids to play with (free stuff!) and rides. Daniel rode on a couple of rides - a car and a little train - his two favorite things! The funniest thing was when Daniel saw a kid that had his entire face painted like Spiderman. Daniel gave him the funniest look! We got a picture of him with the Spiderman kid. Here are a couple of pics from the afternoon!

Soccer Tots

Daniel has been going to Soccer Tots classes starting the beginning of May. Basically they work on developing gross motor skills and teamwork using a variety of games and skills building towards soccer skills. It is pretty fun and it is neat to see the different games that they have to build and work on different skills. Daniel seems to like it pretty well. Some of the games he likes more than others and sometimes he just doesn't want to do something! I got some pictures of one class when Aunt Jennifer went with us and I was holding Colin. Enjoy!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to Allan and Melissa! 9 years ago I married my best friend. We have spent many anniversaries apart, including this one. Allan sent me some beautiful flowers. I love you babe!
