Daniel Plays with Playdough

Today I made homemade playdough for the first time. It was amazingly easy! Then I tried to get Daniel to play with it. He wasn't really sure what to do with it. Of course, he tried to eat it but I told him it was yucky! I made some balls and other shapes that he played with and we made a handprint. I knew he was done when he starting throwing playdough balls at the dog! Enjoy the pictures!

Allan and I went to the Air Force Ball today. It is the first one we have ever been too. It was a pretty good time. Enjoy our picture!

Bowling

Today we went bowling and Daniel bowled for the first time. He always loves going into the bowling alley (that is where the Taco Bell is) and he points at the balls and tries to pick them up. So we thought he would be happy to get to bowl. They have a neat little ramp for the kids and you just put the ball on it and they push it. Don't remember anything like that when I was little!

Sesame Street Live

The base had a USO tour of Sesame Street Live. When we first walked in they gave Daniel a spinning Elmo toy - which he LOVED! I think we could have left then and he would have been happy! We only stayed for a little bit of the show. Daniel enjoyed the first few songs and was dancing in circles mimicing the characters. But then he started to get bored and began trying to climb and crawl all over the people sitting around us on the floor. So we left so others could enjoy the show! Playdate at Cascade Pool

Today we had a playdate at the Cascade Pool in Bitburg. They have a really neat baby/toddler area there and the kids had fun playing and splashing in the water. Here are some pics. To see all the pictures, click here.

Visit to Eifelpark with Dad

Bernkastel Wine Fest

Today we went to the Bernkastel Wine Festival. This is one of our favorite festivals! We have gone every year since we moved here and we were sad this would be our last. Daniel got to ride on one of the kiddy rides - so that was fun. We also watched the awesome fireworks show! Here are a couple of pics!

Doctor Appointment - 13 Weeks

Today I had my doctor visit at 13 weeks. Unfortunately Allan wasn't able to be there since he was on his way back from the States, just arriving this morning while I was there. The doctor said that everything looks great on the ultrasound. He showed me the baby's hand and 5 fingers. I also saw the baby move little baby arms and it looks like we have another thumb sucker! The doctor also said he thinks - he is not 100% sure - but he think it is a ... well, let's just say Daniel is going to have a little brother. Here are the pictures from today's ultrasound. The last one has an arrow pointing at his supposed little boy parts. :)
