Daniel Plays with Rice

Today Daniel played with rice. We got a big container full of rice and a bunch of sand toys for him to play with. It was really neat to watch him scoop and pour the rice. He had a blast and played with it for a long time. Here are a couple pics and video.

Beautiful Flowers

Just a little note here to say thanks to Allan for the beautiful Valentine's Day flowers he sent me. I love you and we miss you!

Biggest Snow in North TX!

Today we had the biggest snow in North TX recorded history! On February 11, 2010, we had 11.2 inches of snow measured at DFW airport. The snow continued all night too, so the total snowfall was more, but that was the official one-day record. The previous record was 7.8 inches on 1/15/1964 and 1/14/1917. I think we might have gotten more snow one that one day than all the years I grew up in TX combined!

Daniel Playing on Bouncy Toys

We have gone to a bouncy house nearby a couple of times lately. They have a bunch of awesome blow up toys, obstacle courses and slides set up for the kids to play on. Daniel loves it and I love that he can run around and get his energy out! It has been tough with the cold weather and not being able to go to the park. Enjoy the pics!
