Dallas Zoo

Today we went to the Dallas Zoo with Grandma Sharon, Aunt Jennifer & Cousin Aidan. I hadn't been to the Dallas Zoo since I was a kid and none of us had been there for a long time. They have made a lot of changes and have a really awesome new habitat for the elephants, giraffes, zebras and ostriches. Eventually, the entire area will be open and those animals will be able to mingle with each other. They had a neat giraffe feeding areas where the giraffe's heads were right next to where you are standing. It was really neat to watch the boys seeing all the cool animals! They also have a bunch of statues all over the zoo of different animals, so we got a lot of cute pictures of the boys with those. Daniel especially liked the monkeys and gorillas that had babies on the statues. He gave hugs and petted the baby animals. We also rode the monorail, from where you can view more habitats and animals. Lastly, we went to the children's zoo area, where they have a little wading fountain, play area, petting zoo and other features. We had a great day! Enjoy the slideshow!
