On July 4th we went to the base celebration and fireworks show. We tried to take Daniel to the park area, but he was mostly interest in the gravel! The fireworks show was great. At first Daniel wasn't sure about it. He would watch the fireworks and point, but every one or two fireworks he would wimper a little. I don't think he was sure if he was supposed to like them or be scared of them! Then I would say "Oooh, WOW!" and he would be happy again. We also tried out the "fireworks" setting on the new camera - worked pretty good, although still a little blurry. We needed a tripod!
