June 2012

June was a very busy month! We started off with a visit from Mimi & Granddad, who stayed with the boys while we went to Atlanta, GA for the Jimmy Buffett concert with some friends. The day after they left, we headed out of town too. The first stop was Gulf Shores, AL to visit with our friends a little more. Then we went on to Port Aransas, TX, via Houston where we spent another night with friends. After a few days in Port Aransas, we headed up to San Antonio where we visited with friends and went to Sea World. Finally we made it to Dallas and visited with family for a few days before heading back to AL. At the end of the month, Allan’s parents came back over for his Change of Command ceremony. Congratulations Maj. Rich!

Boys in the Pods

These footrests belong to friends of ours that were in Germany same time as us. When we were about to leave Germany, Daniel would sit in the "pod" and watch Lightening McQueen. He wasn't even two yet. This summer we got to visit them in San Antonio and get both boys in the "pods."
